Description
The Monte Carlo Research Center has recently developed a new win-version for EGS4 under the utility of Visual C++ and Visual Fortran, according to the inconvenience and difficulty in EGS4's user-interface. The procedure named EGSWIN will run under the system of Windows (WIN98/NT/2000), and has remarkably overcome the shortcoming in above-mentioned aspect through implementing the following function: integration of PEGS4, graphical user interface, visual calculation-environment parameter input, auto-programming of geometry and scoring process, parallel computing and display of particle tracks. The work represents the current direction of development of EGS4, and also will promote the trend
