CP violation in rare B decays
Description
The role of penguin amplitudes in B decay CP asymmetries is surveyed. We describe a calculation of the asymmetry in inclusive charmless B± decays, which is free of uncertainties due to hadronic final state interactions. We discuss briefly asymmetries in exclusive charged B decay modes and summarize penguin effects in neutral B decays to CP eigenstates. (orig.)
