String model and multi-hadron production in e+e- annihilation
Description
The multi-hadron production in e+e- annihilation is investigated on the basis of a string model of hadrons. It is shown that a two-dimensional string model can well interpret the characteristic features of hadronic reactions, such as the logarithmic growth of multiplicity, the scaling property of one-particle distribution function and the rapidity plateau.
