Electronic structure of iodine center on atomic-rough surface of AgCl nanocrystal

Description
One calculated the electronic structure of the relaxed nanocrystals of silver chloride with separate isoelectronic impurities of iodine substitutional impurities on an atomic-rough surface. One made use of the tight-binding approximation with self-coordination as to the effective charges and dipole moments of ions. The depth of iodine centre related hole traps on the atomic-rough surface was revealed to be essentially higher than the spatial value

Рассчитана электронная структура релаксированных нанокристаллов хлорида серебра с одиночными изоэлектронными примесями замещения иода на атомно-шероховатой поверхности. Использовано приближение сильной связи с самосогласованием по эффективным зарядам и дипольным моментам ионов. Обнаружено, что глубина дырочных ловушек, связанных с иодными центрами на атомно-шероховатой поверхности, существенно превышает объемное значениеAdditional details
