Hot cell infrastructure at the Research Centre Řež. Pt. 2

Hot cells were built at the Nuclear Research Institute/Research Centre at Řež during recent years. The research programme is focused on structural diagnostics and study of mechanical properties of materials exposed to high doses of neutron radiation in nuclear and thermonuclear reactors. Research and development of high technology of and materials for fast reactors and thermonuclear fusion is also fostered. The following segments are described in detail: Loading system, packaging set, dry reloading pool and transfer systems. (P.A.)
