Disassembly and assembly of travelling cranes at the Kursk NPP using the main lifting gears of these cranes

Technology of disassembly and assembly of travelling cranes of 320t lifting power at the Kursk NPP is considered. Cranes disassembly and successive assembly were accomplished by means of mechanisms of major camber of the cranes themselves. This permitted to relinguish use of building cranes and complex erection equipment, subdivision and successive enlargement of crane metalworks, disconnection, connection and adjustment of its electrical equipment.
