Measurement of activation cross sections on Ta, W for 14 MeV neutrons

Description
Neutron activation cross sections producing the nuclei with half-lives between 10 min and 42 d were measured at neutron energy of 13.4 to 14.9 MeV by activation method. Measured reactions were 181Ta(n,p), (n,α)m, (n,np)m, (n,2n)g, 182W(n,p)m, 184W(n,p), (n,α), 186W(n,p), (n,α). A formula which represents the systematic trends of (n,p) reaction cross sections is given. (author)
