Evolution of dust condensations in a protoplanetary disk

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Fiziki Zemli

Description

After the dust sedimentation in a circumsolar protoplanetary disk and gravitational instability in the dust subdisk, the dust condensations are formed. The relations between the radius, mass, density and momentum of rotating condensations are investigated. The time of their growth and transformation into solid bodies is estimated. The biggest of them can evolve into protoplanets
