Hydrogen emission profiles at positive latitudes, 1

Presented are Gaussian components of 334 hydrogen profiles at the points distributed over the northern galactic hemisphere except near the galactic equator. The data are selected from Tolbert's (1971) and Heiles and Habing's (1974) surveys and partly supplemented by the intermediate-latitude survey (Takakubo and van Woerden, 1966). Some simple statistics on the components and the profiles are given. It is suggested that the stream motion of the interstellar gas enhances the internal motion. (author)
