Description
A detailed description of x-ray fluorescent holography is given using the formalism of classical electrodynamics. Effects of the wavefront curvature are calculated. It is shown that neglecting these effects might cause large errors especially in the forward direction. The model calculation is compared with experimental data. It is shown that for the model system of NiO the experiment agrees well with theoretical images. (author)
