A model of chromoelectric charge confinement
Description
The problem of a consistent description of small and large distances in QCD is considered. For large distances the effective action for the gluon field corresponds to the singular infrared asymptotics of a gluon propagator. Proceeding from the action principle the static spherically-symmetric nonabelian solutions are constructed, which provide a model description of hadrons. The range of the perturbative region and the vacuum energy density are estimated. (orig.)
