Vector Boson Scattering Studies and Upgrades of Frontend Electronics for the ATLAS Muon Spectrometer

Description

I report the research activities that my group has with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC for the period of 7/2017 to 3/2018. The research focused on observation of the same-sign WW vector boson scattering process, evidence of the WWW production, and search for new resonances in the WV final state. In addition, I also describe our work on the development of frontend electronics for Phase-1 and Phase-2 upgrades of the ATLAS muon spectrometer.
