Quality factors and ambient dose equivalent for neutrons based on the new ICRP recommendations

Description
Quality factors and fluence to ambient dose equivalent conversion coefficients for neutrons, based on the recent ICRP recommendation for the quality factor, were calculated for incident neutrons ranging from thermal neutrons to 20 MeV. The neutron quality factors are given in tabular form for the four elements H, C, N and O and for ICRU tissue substitute. An analytical function was fitted to the conversion coefficients. (author)
