Description
It is shown that the Alexandrov topology for a subset X of a space-time with nondegenerate space-time metric is complete if X is strongly causal. Therefore, the property of the Alexandrov topology being complete and the property of being Hausdorff coincide. There is thus no physically measurable distinction between the Hausdorff nature and the completeness of the Alexandrov topology for space-time. (author)
