Description
This paper is about an IC chip which is used for readout in PET detector. This device features a low-noise, low-impedance, variable gain preamplifier to correct for non-uniformity. In this article we describe the IC architecture that will be implemented for PET, with a special emphasis put on the designs and the measured performance. (authors)
