Electrodeposition of chromium-molybdenum alloy from electrolyte based on chromium(III) sulfate

Description
Conditions of chromium-molybdenum deposits preparation from the electrolytes based on chromium(III) compounds are studied. It is shown that the deposits containing to 2 wt % molybdenum can be obtained by introducing sodium molybdate into the composition of electrolytes based on chromium(3+) compounds. Introduction of molybdenum into composition of chromium electrolytic deposits enhances their corrosion resistance in the media containing chloride ions

Исследованы условия получения осадков хром-молибден из электролитов на основе соединений трехвалентного хрома. Показано, что при введении молибдата натрия в состав электролитов на основе соединений хрома(III) могут быть получены осадки, содержащие до 2 мас. % молибдена. Введение молибдена в состав электролитических осадков хрома повышает их коррозионную стойкость в средах, содержащих хлорид-ионыAdditional details
