Excitation of 7Li below the Coulomb barrier
Description
Coulomb excitation of 7Li at energies and scattering angles such that nuclear forces begin to be important has been studied. A new method is developed to combine both nuclear and Coulomb effects and the data for inelastic scattering to the Jπ=1/2- state at 0.478 MeV is fitted. (orig.)
