Wroblewski formula as a consequence of stationary branching process

Description
It is shown that in order to explain the widely known empirical Wroblewski formula D=A+B, relating the dispersion D=(-2)1/2 of the multiplicity distribution to the average particle multiplicity , it is sufficient to assume that particle production at high energies is a stationary branching process
