Description
The extraction behavior and mechanism of UO22+ by sec-nonylphonoxy acetic acid(CA-100) is reported. The influence of acidity of aqueous phase and extractant concentration on extraction is examined. The experiments found that at pH 3.0-4.0 and 0.01 mol/L CA-100 the extraction proceeds very well. The extraction reached 100% at pH 3.85. The bonding mode was analyzed by infrared spectrum analysis. It is shown that COO- is involved in the bonding and extraction mechanism is anion exchange reaction. The equation of extraction reaction at acidic condition is also presented. (authors)
