Gamma thermometer
Description
The gamma thermometer consists of a thermally conducting bar, which has a small cross section over a certain length, and is surrounded by a tubular thermally insulating chamber there. A differential thermometer with a hot junction and a cold junction is situated in an axial central channel in the bar. Both the hot junction and the cold junction of the differential thermometer in the duct are situated in the inside area of the thermally insulated tubular chamber. (orig./HP)
