On the influence of quantity of primary crystals on the kinetics of peritectic transformation
Description
The effect of the number of primary crystals on the yield of the peritectic reaction in slowly cooled melts of the Cu-Cd system is investigated. The yield of the peritectic reaction epsilon is revealed to decrease with the increase of relative number of primary crystals eta. A diagram of epsilon dependence on eta is plotted according to the experimental data and its peculiarities are considered
