Spin dependent potential for heavy fermions on the ends of a string

Description
Mesons with heavy quarks are modeled by putting fermions on the ends of a string. The spin dependence of the fermion potential over large distances is found by solving for the classical motion of a rotating string. Some general remarks about such theories of ''heavy'' strings are also made. (orig.)
