Description
A control to regulate the system in pouring cerium stabilized powder zirconium (Ce-Zr) nitrate and mineral free water (ABM) into a dissolution reactor has been prepared using a load cell sensor. This is to obtain the accuracy of concentration, resulting in a good quality of nuclear fuel and reduce the risk of direct contact of the operator in the process of mixing the material. The design of the tool consists of hardware and software. The hardware design consists of a hopper, load cell control circuit, and mechanical tools. The design of software on load cell load sensor simulation using computer programming with BASIC language programming. The load cell automation system that has been created has a maximum measuring range of 2000 grams with the smallest scale value (SSV) 1 gram. The results of testing automation system run well with the application of mass variation of standardized weighing children on the tool, the relative error that occurred an average of 0.296 %, the load cell accuracy level 99.704 %.
