Delayed complications of surgical and combined therapy of mammary gland cancer

Description
Analysis of complications of surgical and combined (operation+radiotherapy) treatment of 114 patients is carried out. 2-8 years after the treatment various complications were detected in 82 (72.0%) patients, 45(39.6%) of them complained of pains in the arm, 20(17.6%) had limitations of humeral articulation, and 78(68.5%) suffered from upper extremity edema and elephantiasis. The number of complications increased in patients who have undergone radiotherapy and in patients with excessive body mass
