The elastic scattering of 14 MeV neutrons in large samples of concrete
Description
The angular distributions of 14 MeV neutrons produced by the T(d,n)4He reaction and elastically scattered from various thicknesses of concrete have been measured using an associated particle time of flight spectrometer. The increase in effective cross-section due to multiple scattering effects has been studied and a general formula describing this behaviour has been produced. (author)
