Beam smoothing by broad-band random-phase technique in KrF laser system ASHURA
- 1. Electrotechnical Lab., Tsukuba, Ibaraki (Japan)
Description
This document deals with Broad-band Random Phase irradiation as a suitable beam smoothing technique for KrF laser drivers. It presents the results of experiments carried out with the ASHURA laser system, with either one beam or two beams overlapped-focused on the target incoherently. The profile obtained was smoothed thanks to a new technique for two-dimensional smoothing. (TEC). 8 refs., 3 figs
