Kaon physics and future developments
Description
Among the very numerous subjects which could be treated, even if limited to low-energy kaons, three have been chosen which are characterized by the fact that they are at the extreme limit of the present machine possibilities. The K-nucleus scattering, the hypernuclei, and the hyperon electromagnetic decay are reviewed. All three gave rise to experiments that must be considered as exploratory ones

Parmi les tres nombreux sujets qui pourraient etre traites sous ce titre, meme en se limitant aux kaons de basse energie, nous en avons choisi trois qui se caracterisent par le fait qu'ils sont a l'extreme limite des possibilites des machines actuelles. La diffusion K-noyau, les hypernoyaux et la decroissance electromagnetique des hyperons sont passes en revue. Tous trois ont deja donne lieu a des experiences qu'on doit considerer comme exploratoires et encourageant a poursuivre dans de meilleures conditions cette physique prometteuseAdditional details
