Determination of carbonates in high-purity alkali halides
Description
The reaction of chromium(3) complexing with eriochromocyanine R in the presence of microamounts of carbonates catalyzing the reaction has been studied. The optimal conditions of the reaction have been defined. Methods of determination of up to 2x10-4% CO32- in special-purity KCl and up to 1x10-4% CO32- in NaI and CsI have been elaborated.
