Determination of the composition of multielement comparison samples for neutron-activation analysis of high-purity substances
- 1. State Sci-Res...Institute of Hydrometallorgy of Nonferrovs Metals, Novosibirsk
Description
This paper selects compositions of elements and their ratiosin multielement comparison samples for the neutron-activation analysis of ultrapure substances, with which a permissible total loading of the spectrometer and the measurment of the activity of the analytical radionuclides are ensured with an error of less than or eual to 2% relative. Elements whose radiosotopes emit a large number of intense gamma-lines - Ag, Ta, Br, Eu, Na and elements emitting intense soft gamma-radiation Mo, W, Re, Se, Pt, Os, Ba, Pd, Ce, Sm, and Lu are discussed. Elements whose radioisotopes emit relatively hard gamma-radiation - K, Rb, Cs, Au, Sr, Zn, Cd, Hg, Ga, Sc, La, Hf, As, Sb, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Sn, Ru, W, Ir, and Th are examined
