Selective retention in tissue cells and the chromosome aberration induced by large doses of 147Pm
- 1. Suzhou Medical Coll., JS (China)
Description
This paper presents a study on the chromosome aberrations induced by selective retention of 147Pm in liver and bone marrow cells of BALB/C strain mice that have been injected large doses of 147Pm. It was shown that large doses of 147Pm induced chromosome aberrations in regenerated liver and bone marrow cells, and chromatid breakage appeared predominant. The larger the doses, the higher the chromosome aberrations. Regenerated liver cell aberrations were higher than marrow cell aberrations. At the same time the cytotoxicity induced by large dosage of 147Pm is designable and the body cell divisions were depressed
