Radioactively labelled iodinated insulin and method of preparation

Suitable tracers for RIA and substrates for pharmacokinetic investigations are insulin derivatives where B1 phenylalanine is substituted by a tyrosine derivative and part of the iodine is in the form of I-125 or I-131. The preparation of the insulin derivatives is described. (HP)

Abstract (German)

Als Tracer fuer Radioimmunoassay und als Substrate fuer pharmakokinetische Untersuchungen eignen sich Insulin-Derivate, in denen B1- Phenylalanin durch ein Tyrosinderivat ersetzt ist, und ein Teil des Jods als J-125 oder J-131 vorliegt. Die Herstellung der Insulin-Derivate ist beschrieben. (HP)
