Reducing exposure through the use of photographic and electronic surveillance

There is little doubt that one of the major issues facing the nuclear industry today is the reduction of occupational radiation exposure. Increasingly, regulatory and advisory bodies are demanding that utilities take an aggressive approach in the development and implementation of exposure reduction programs. At the Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Plant, the authors have adopted an innovative approach to the as-low-as-reasonably-achievable dilemma.
