Analog states in isotopes and isotones

Description
A problem of the existence of isotope- and isotone-analog states which are similar in the properties of isotone and isotope energy levels, is investigated. To describe such states, the notions of isotopic and isotonic nuclear multiplets are introduced. Ratios between the excitation energy and the mass of these multiplets' members are obtained. Three isotope-analog pairs in the region of medium and heavy nuclei are identified. 11 refs., 2 figs., 4 tabs
