Description
Alize I experiments with a light water uranium oxide 1.5 wt.% lattice were mainly devoted to the study of absorbing plates (silver - indium - cadmium, boron). We tried to get some information on epithermal absorption, taking displaced volume and surrounding water gaps carefully into account. Exploitation of experimental results leads to empirical parameters, but some other experiments are needed to extend the range of validity as far as spectrum and geometry are concerned.
