Study of precipitation hardening during decomposition of dilute Nb-H solutions
Description
Method of X-ray diffractometry was used to study the deformation, accompanying decomposition of dilute solid solutions of hydrogen in niobium (0.11-2.72 at.%). Dislocation density conditioned by this decomposition, depends linearly on hydrogen concentration CH in the basic solution. Temperature effect on the width of [222] X-ray line, as well as variation of the line width at room temperature due to thermal cycling, wereinvestigated
