A portable digital ultrasonic display

This paper reports on the development of a portable ultrasonic imaging system based on digital electronics. Referred to s the multiple display unit (MDU-2), this system can provide high reliability inspections in situations where complex geometry, difficult access or multiple defects make it very difficult to perform the task by conventional manual techniques.
