Effect of constant electric fields on phase transformations in NaNbO3 and Nasub(0,98)Lisub(0,02)NbOsub(3) crystals

Description

Effect of constant electric fields E=4, 6, 8 and 10 kV/sm on temperature dependences of dielectric permittivity epsilon (T) of NaNbO3 and Nasub(0.98)Lisub(0.02)NbOsub(3) ceramic samples is studied. The curic temperature is stated to shear towards decrease (ΔTsub(C)sup(E) < o) in constant electric fields, while that of the Nasub(0.98)Lisub(0.02)NbsubO(3) solid solution shears towards temperature increase (Tsub(e)sup(E) > 0), that is characteristic of non-polar antiferroelectric and ferroelectric respectively. Nasub(0.98)Lisub(0.02)NbOsub(3) is supposed to be ferroelectric with polar direction (010)
