Thermodynamic stability of complex oxides in alkali metals
Description
A temperature dependence of thermodynamic potential of oxyaen iMpurity in the Na-K eutectic alloy circulating in the counter of stainless steel was studied using the e.m.f. method. It is established that during heating this dependence disclosed an anomalous alloy transforMation fror the state, saturated with oxygen impurity, to the state confirMing to rhe NaCrO2 phase thermodynamic potential and inreVeAsely (on cooling). The model explaining this phenomenon by the second-order phase transition between crystalline modifications of complex oxide of the Na-K alloy is proposed
