Approximate models for the analysis of laser velocimetry correlation functions

  • 1. UKAEA Atomic Energy Establishment, Winfrith

Description

Approximate models for data reduction to obtain turbulence levels are described. These aim to provide an alternative to earlier techniques which gave unsatisfactory results. An approximate iterative procedure, which assumes Gaussian turbulence, is in use in the Winfrith laser velocimeter system. (author)
