Structure formation in cadmium chalcogenide films, obtaining of atomic-molecular beams

Description
The process of formation of ultrathin films of cadmium chalcogenides prepared by chemical assembly of atomic-molecular beams was studied. The films were grown at the expense of surface reactions between adsorbed components of the compound (Cd, Te) on substrates from monocrystal gallium arsenide (100). It is ascertained that thermal stability of ultrathin films of cadmium chalcogenides on gallium arsenide is determined by the critical thickness of the layers, which are not crystallized during thermal treatment
