Solid lithium-conducting electrolytes Li6-xGe2-xVxO7 and Li6-2xGe2-xMoxO7

Description
Lithium-conductivity solid electrolytes -Li6-xGe2-xVxO7 and Li6-2xGe2-xMoxO7 solid solutions - were synthesized. Their electric resistance, crystal structure were investigated. Lithium - cation character of synthesized solid electrolytes was supported. Two types of solid solutions were revealed in both analyzed electrolytes: monoclinic ones with Li6Ge2O7 structure and orthorhombic ones, derivatives of high-temperature modification of lithium orthophosphate. Orthorhombic solid solutions are noted for higher electric characteristics, as compared with monoclinic ones. This is explained by the presence of lithium cations, weakly bounded with rigid lattice
