Computation of improved compton scattering momentum transfer
Creators
- 1. Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, P.O. Box 1072, Schenectady, NY 12301 (United States)
Description
It is shown that typical approximations in the electron momentum transfer used in modeling incoherent scattering from a bound electron can lead to inaccuracies in computing exit energies for low energy photons. It is suggested that improved calculated quantities May be obtained without some of these approximations. (authors)
