Description
High power targetry is one of the major technical challenges to realize neutrino factories based on muon storage rings. Various R and D works have been carried out in the framework of international collaboration. Recent progress in a free mercury jet, material studies, and capture/focusing devices are discussed. Future prospects for R and D are briefly described
