Nuclear power and supply safety in an enlarged European Union. Winter meeting of the German Atomforum

Foreign countries within the European Union do not accept the ending of nuclear power generation like in Germany. They won't afford CO2- reduction with new energy supply measures. France looks upon the reactor generations like EPR, ABWR or AP1000, which shall be constructed from the year 2010 in big series. The most countries of the Union won't be longer dependent from fossil fuels but accept advanced nuclear power completed with state-of-the-art equipment for alternative power generation. (GL)
