Description
Present work is devoted to 1.5-dihydro-7.8-dimethoxy-3 H-benzo[E]-2.4-dithiepyns - new cyclic sulfurous compounds. Thus, new dithiol - 4.5-dimethoxy-1.2-benzenedimethanethiol is synthesized. The number of new dehydrated benzo[e]-2.4-dithiepyns are obtained by interaction of 4.5-dimethoxy-1.2-benzenedimethanethiol with aldehydes at presence of concentrated hydrochloric acid in the medium of dioxane.
