Spectroscopic analysis of the precipitate formed in the mixture of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite and 2% chlorhexidine: study in vitro: part II
Description
The content of precipitate formed is determined as a product of the interaction between 5.25% sodium hypochlorite and 2% chlorhexidine. Three groups of samples have analyzed. Group A: Pure lyophilized chlorhexidine gluconate. Group B: mixture of 2 ml of 2% chlorhexidine with 2 ml of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite. Group C: a mixture of 6 ml with 2 ml of 2% chlorhexidine with 2 ml of 2.25% sodium hypochlorite and 2 ml of 100% acetic acid. The analysis obtained by thin layer chromatography were generated over a chemical substance with similar characteristics. The method has allowed to isolate the compound part needed to be analyzed by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The nuclear magnetic resonance 13C at 100 MHz has determined that the signal appears at lower field (δ: 146.5 ppm) and indicated the presence or absence of Para-chlorophenylurea in samples from the precipitate formed by 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, 2% chlorhexidine gluconate. The measurements have resulted in the lack of Para-chlorophenylurea, either the signal has occurred when acetic acid is included. (author)

El contenido de precipitado formado es determinado como producto de la interaccion entre hipoclorito de sodio 5.25% y clorhexidina 2%. Tres grupos de muestras se han analizado. Grupo A: gluconato puro de clorhexidina liofilizada. Grupo B: mezcla de 2 ml de clorhexidina al 2% con 2 ml de hipoclorito de sodio al 5.25%. Grupo C: una mezcla de 6 ml con la 2 ml de clorhexidina al 2%, con 2 ml de hipoclorito de sodio al 2.25% y 2 ml de acido acetico al 100%. Los analisis obtenidos por cromatografia de capa fina han generado mas de una sustancia quimica con caracteristicas muy similares. El metodo ha permitido aislar la parte del compuesto necesaria para ser analizada por espectroscopia de resonancia magnetica nuclear. La resonancia magnetica nuclear de 13C a 100 Mhz ha determinado que la senal aparece a campo mas bajo (δ:146.5 ppm) e indicado la presencia o ausencia de Para-clorofenilurea en las muestras a partir del precipitado formado por hipoclorito de sodio 5,25%, gluconato de clorhexidina 2%. Las mediciones han dado como resultado la falta de Para-clorofenilurea, tampoco se ha presentado la senal cuando es incluido acido acetico. (autor)Additional details
