The principle is described of computerized tomography, the methods of image reconstruction and evaluation image, the equipment of a CT workplace and the problems of the administration of contrast media. Part two is highly detailed and includes many illustrations to describe the technique of examination, the normal image and the pathological images of a wide range of diseases and lesions of the following body organs: the brain, the orbitals, the face and the parapharyngeal area, the neck, the throat, the heart and veins of the mediastinum, the lungs and the mediastinum, the pleura, the liver and the biliary system, the spleen, pancreas and the abdomen, the kidneys, the retroperitoneum, the pelvic organs, the spine, the spinal cord, and the extremities.
