Electromagnetic wave emission by an axial-symmetric modulated electron beam in inhomogeneous plasma

Radiation of electromagnetic waves appearing during normal incidence of axial-symmetric modulated electron beam of finite cross section to the boundary of semiboundless inhomogeneous isotropic plasma has been investigated. An expression for such radiation beam pattern has been derived; its power has been evaluated numerically
