Integral measurement of fission products capture in fast breeder reactors
Description
For the SUPERPHENIX reactor project, it was necessary to know fission products capture with about 10% accuracy in the fast breeder reactor spectra. In this purpose, integral measurements have been carried out on the main separated products by different experimental technics (oscillation, activation and irradiation methods), but particularly on irradiated fuel pins from RAPSODIE and PHENIX reactors in order to directly obtain total effect of fission products. Same tendencies have been observed for both enriched uranium fuel and LMFBR characteristic plutonium fuel. All experimental results have been introduced in CARNAVAL cross section set

Pour le projet du reacteur SUPERPHENIX il etait necessaire de connaitre la capture des produits de fission avec une precision d'environ 10% dans la gamme de spectre des reacteurs a neutrons rapides. A cette fin on a procede a des mesures integrales d'une part sur les principaux produits separes par differentes techniques experimentales (oscillation, activation, irradiation), mais surtout sur des combustibles irradies des reacteurs RAPSODDIE et PHENIX afin d'obtenir directement l'effet global des produits de fission. Des tendances similaires ont ete mises en evidence a la fois pour un combustible uranium enrichi et pour un combustible plutonium caracteristique de la filiere a neutrons rapides. L'ensemble des resultats obtenus ont ete introduits dans le formulaire de sections efficaces CARNAVALFiles
