Supernova neutrino type identification with adding sodium chloride in LVD
- 1. Institute for Nuclear Research of RAS, Moscow (Russian Federation)
Description
The main goal of LVD detector is the search for neutrino bursts from gravitational stellar collapses in our Galaxy. It is showed that the addition of kitchen salt in the structure of existing detectors can both significantly improve the neutrino type identification and increase the active mass of existing detectors.
